This film was my final outcome to a college project "DESIGN FUTURES".

The concept behind this piece is organ donation. I wanted to be able to represent the different organs in a unique way, using photographs and short phrases. Donating an organ is giving a part of yourself so that someone else's life can be helped or even saved. I wanted to explore the idea of living on through someone else.

"The things that I've learned" - Eyes

"The times that I've laughed" - Lungs

"The people that I've loved" - Heart

In this film there are four characters. Chris (the donor) and Lucy, Roberta and Frank (the three donees). Chris died in a car crash and his organs were donated to each person. Each character receives their donation as a photograph of Chris as a child. This is to convey the idea that they are receiving a real part of Chris - part of his story. 

Filmed on Location in Cornwall, New York and Los Angeles.
